What's Going On in the Art Room?

Kindergarten is learning primary colors (red, yellow, and blue) and secondary colors (green, purple, and orange). The secondary colors can made by mixing the primary colors (red and yellow make orange, yellow and blue make green, red and blue make purple).
First grade learned to repeat line and shape to make texture.
Second grade learned about positive and negative space.
Third grade is using chalk pastel techniques to add color and contrast to a Silly Glue Portrait that they drew with glue!
Fourth grade is almost finished with their masks and they look great! Students are adding the finishing touches and when everyone is finished they will go on a mask parade around the school.
